Just a ferry journey away, this grand old dame provides an escape where you can relax, free from the fear of gate crashers.
With Mount Stuart as your stage, every wedding feels like a royal ball, minus the stuffiness.
Photography and Videography
Enter stage left, Luke Bell Photography, a lover of modern wedding imagery with an editorial twist. He has an uncanny knack for capturing great light, fleeting moments, tiny details, and gorgeous colours, all of which combined to lend a touch of eclectic elegance to the traditional grandeur of Mount Stuart.
And let's not forget about the cinematic genius of James Smith Weddings. Working solo with just his unobtrusive gear, he managed to weave together a visual narrative that was as candid as it was captivating. A sort of 'fly-on-the-wall' perspective, if you will, except this fly has a keen eye for details and a flair for storytelling.
The photography and videography breathed life into the couple's love story, beautifully incorporating elements of this luxury wedding venue in Scotland into the narrative.
Floral Magic
Abbie Walsh at Paperwhite Floral Design, transformed the noble interiors and grounds of this Mount Stuart, Isle of Bute wedding into a blooming spectacle that had everyone gawping in awe.
With her ethos of superior customer service and the choicest of blooms, Abbie takes floral styling to new heights. Staying true to the red and pink colour scheme, she breathed life into the venue with her floral magic.
Whether it was the table arrangements dotted with florals, Abbie's creations were nothing short of awe-inspiring.
The Celebrant
Taking centre stage in at this wedding was the charming and charismatic Sarah Morrison.
More than just a ceremonial figurehead, Sarah played the crucial role of a bespoke wedding scriptwriter, story-weaver, and love narrator. Imagine having someone who can recount your love story in a way that gets everyone laughing! That's Sarah for you.
With her at the helm of affairs, the ceremony was not a run-of-the-mill recital of vows, but a celebration of a unique love story. And the beauty of a Mount Stuart, Isle of Bute wedding?
They let you bring your own celebrant. Meaning, you're not stuck with the obligatory stern-faced chap droning on about holy matrimony. Instead, you get a ceremony that's all about you, your love, your quirks, and your dreams.
The Pipe Band
We are about to unleash the local pipe band that blew our wedding guests away.
This was a soulful, foot-tapping, heart-pounding music delight that got all the guests blood rushing and kilts swirling. With their tartan charm and musical prowess, the local pipe band turned a luxury do into a lively ceilidh.
Echoing through the halls of Mount Stuart, the stirring melodies of Scotland’s traditional tunes brought a slice of the Highlands to the Isle of Bute, creating a symphony of sounds that made the event uniquely Scottish.
One thing’s for sure, no one's going to forget the sight (and sound) of a bagpipe band playing at full tilt in the grandeur of a Mount Stuart, Isle of Bute wedding.
It was a beautiful clash of tradition and modernity, where the age-old sounds of Scotland found a home in a 19th-century royal abode.
The Dress, Hair, and Makeup
Let's talk couture, coiffure, and cosmetics.
Topping the list of things that caused dropped jaws and widened eyes was our bride's bespoke dress from Rachel Scott Couture. Stitched with love, draped in elegance, and infused with the bride's personality, this custom creation was more than a dress; it was a masterpiece which complemented the venue and the styling perfectly.
Then we had Pam Doc Hair, who managed to turn our bride's locks into an art form. She created a hairstyle that echoed the bride's grace.
Completing the brides whole look, we had Amy Wright MUA on the cosmetics front who painted a picture of elegance and only enagnced her natrual beauty, that left everyone stunned.
The Afterparty!
Cue the beats!
The evening bash was brought to life by the ever so cool Anti Wedding DJ. These rhythm wranglers are far from your run-of-the-mill wedding disc jockeys. Their mission? To shake up the traditional wedding party scene with a beat-tastic blend of groovy tunes and transitions.
Their secret weapon is an uncanny ability to read the room and adapt their playlists to match the vibe. As the twilight draped this Mount Stuart, Isle of Bute wedding in a velvety cloak, the enchanting aura of the venue was matched by the DJ's electrifying vibe.
Their infectious energy spread like wildfire, transforming the regal estate into a hip, heady hotspot. With Anti Wedding DJ at the helm, the afterparty was not just about playing music, it was about creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
So here's a toast to them, for they turned an already splendid day into a delightful night to remember!
