    We had a clear idea of how we wanted our big day to look and feel but with our busy schedules we were overwhelmed on how to make our vision come to life. When we came across Caroline and her Venue Design & Styling service, it sounded absolutely perfect and from our first meeting with Caroline we were confident that our day would be everything we had dreamed of.

    We got married in early September in Troon with our ceremony taking place in a nearby church and the reception at Lochgreen House. To begin with we spoke through our ideas with Caroline. Caroline then pulled together a moodboard taking all of our ideas and inspiration and turning it into a plan for our dream day.

    Caroline recommended and liaised with our florist (Achillea Flower Studio) and stationary provider (KB Invitations) to ensure everything was seamless. These were the perfect suppliers to bring all of the details to life.

    On our wedding day, we didn’t have a thing to stress about. We were confident that Caroline had everything under control and she really exceeded our expectations. We didn’t have to think about a thing! All of the details were perfect and we just enjoyed ourselves from the minute we got up. We even had decor from the church reused in the venue and this was all done without anyone noticing.

    We cannot recommend Caroline enough for stress free wedding planning and beautiful details on the day! It’s clear how passionate Caroline is about every wedding she is part of. Definitely one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process! We loved wedding planning and this is definitely in part because of the work Caroline did behind the scenes.

She took on tasks outside of her obligations, such as storing bridesmaids' gifts and party favors and coordinating the kilt and tux returns for our guests traveling overseas, all to ensure we had less to worry about during our travel to Scotland.

After stumbling across her page 2 years ago when we were desperately searching for a wedding stylist, I knew she was the perfect person to make our dream wedding come to life! She had multiple zoom calls with us to go over ideas, created a storyboard full of inspiration that we used back and forth to bounce more ideas off of each other, and did venue visits with us to make sure our dream day would be executed perfectly.     Feeling extremely stressed and overwhelmed with wedding planning we contacted The Creative Occasion only a few months before our day, Caroline immediately made us feel relaxed, and from then on with her help we were able to enjoy the process.

    No detail was overlooked, Caroline’s work ethic is faultless, she has an eye for detail, especially for the small things we didn’t think about that made big impact and brought our styling together. Quickly we realised there was more to planning a wedding than booking some suppliers so we relied on Caroline more than we first thought and nothing was too much to ask. Caroline’s organisation skills are exceptional, it was very easy to trust that everything was in hand and even when we asked the same question 100 times or Caroline had to prompt us 100 times, her positive attitude and high energy never faltered.

    On the day of the wedding, Caroline was super professional, calm, reassuring, and made us feel like her only job was to make sure we were having a good time, while in the background she coordinated all our suppliers and the entire running of day from preparations until after our first dance seamlessly.

    Caroline was definitely the one detail of our day we never thought we needed, but if we were to do it again, she would be the first person we’d book. We enjoyed every step of the way working with her and can’t thank her enough for the effort she put in to make our day so special and one that we could enjoy stress free.
