Achnagairn Castle

Achnagairn Castle is a magical wedding venue in Scotland located 7 miles from Inverness.

The magnificent vaulted ballroom is the jewel in its crown, a fairytale location for you to get married and hold a wedding banquet for up to 170 people. The space is truly breathtaking, and you are entirely free to personalise it!

You have exclusive use of the venue, which means that the Castle is yours and yours alone for the duration of your stay, from the ballroom to the gracious reception rooms and the 24 individually designed bedrooms.

You can hire the Castle for a minimum of two nights and the castle can sleep up to 55 people in its 24 bedrooms, but Achnagairn Estate also has seven large luxury Mini Manors only 200m from the castle, so you can have up to 130 people stay with you!

Kinmount House is a historic country house wedding venue in Dumfries & Galloway and is a luxury wedding venue in Scotland set on 2,000 acres of scenic grounds.

This magnificent property provides a plethora of regal spaces, charming accommodations, and complete privacy for your event.

You are spoiled for choice with the many beautiful event spaces they have to offer – it is a stylist's dream! Seriously though, the large windows offer a bright and airy space, the unique features really emphasise the luxury of the venue and the space it gives us to add those specific touches – florals, stationary… we can add it all.

The venue is licenced for civil ceremonies so all aspects of your wedding celebrations can take place on-site. The Orangery is a lovely setting for an indoor ceremony with up to 70 seated guests– formerly a museum.

Up to 16 guests can be transported across the lake by boat to the Victorian Bathing House if you would like a more intimate ceremony setting – where your guests can gather on the Italian steps to watch you say your vows by the water's edge.

Gilmerton House

Gilmerton House is an exclusive-use estate that combines history and tradition with a modern twist and a commitment to sustainability – I mean, what more could you want?

This luxury wedding venue in Scotland is located on Edinburgh's doorstep and within easy reach of North Berwick's stunning beaches and ancient castles.

They strive to give every couple the freedom to curate a unique wedding based on their tastes–as a result, they do not offer fixed wedding packages and only accept a limited number of weddings per year to ensure the best experience for their couples and to maintain the splendour of the house.

If you ask me, this is perfect. We can work together to decide on your desired look and feel for the day and I can make this happen. It really benefits when a venue gives us this freedom so we can add the touches that make a wedding vision look just like it is out of Vogue magazine!

The house has ten luxurious double bedrooms that have been tastefully decorated in a classical Georgian style with a modern and sustainable focus. Overnight guests can also request the services of a house butler and a private chef. A further three bedrooms are available in The Lodge, a quaint Victorian self-contained cottage near the main house.

Borthwick Castle

Borthwick Castle is a luxuriously romantic Scottish castle nestled in the beautiful landscape of Midlothian in the Lothian & Borders region.

This is an exclusive-use wedding venue in Scotland. The surrounding grounds within the Castle walls provide the ideal setting for your celebrations, as well as stunning views and numerous photo opportunities.

Religious, humanist, and civil ceremonies and partnerships are permitted in the Great Hall, Garrison, and Stateroom and can accommodate up to 80 guests for your entire day.

You and your guests can stay the night at the Castle and unwind in front of the fire during the evening. The next morning, you can start slowly by enjoying a delicious full Scottish breakfast in the Great Hall

What I love about this venue, is they understand that each wedding is unique, so they aim to tailor your day to your specific needs, personalising your day and understanding your vision.

They allow you to truly express yourself and your vision to create the day you have always dreamed of. With their help, and help from a Scotland wedding planner and stylist, nothing can go wrong – a big team coming together, who aim to create something you desire.

Carlowrie Castle

Carlowrie Castle is located near Edinburgh Airport, just outside the village of Kirkliston.

Perfectly located for travel from Edinburgh, Glasgow, and further afield, but with a sense of seclusion and privacy in its 32-acre walled estate.

At this luxury wedding venue, you have the woodland and walled garden or unwind in one of their four public rooms or your own castle suite with all modern conveniences.

You can enjoy the tennis court and free bicycles before relaxing with a drink at the well-stocked bar for a complete serine stay.

Carlowrie, built in 1852, has only ever been owned by two families: the Hutchisons, who designed and built the castle, and the Marshalls, whose son Andrew grew up here and has extensively refurbished the castle and grounds, transforming it into the one-of-a-kind property that awaits you today.

Carlowrie maintains a family atmosphere, and their excellent team is on hand to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Their wedding team, operational team, and chefs are available to assist with any question or request, and they take pride in their flexibility.

Andrew's private collection of urban art pieces, which number 150 and counting, complements the stunning modern interior.
